If you are experiencing problems with your equipment but are not sure where the problem lies, do not how to use it to its full potential or are just worried about being ready for Digital Switchover you can book one of our engineers to call and help. For a fixed fee you will get up to 45 minutes of an engineer's time to either resolve your problem or run through the operation of your system with you to ensure you are fully conversant with all of its functions.

Troubleshooting

Many perceived faults could simply be caused by a loose or faulty cable or perhaps even just incorrect setting on one of your products. These type of ‘faults’ are generally not covered under any manufacturer's warranty and even if they were it can be difficult to pin it down to which manufacturer to call. For a fixed fee we can send an engineer to your home to run a full diagnostic check of your system to identify exactly where the fault lies. If this can be rectified there and then without replacing any components this will be included in the price. If it is just the case of replacing a faulty cable or connector, the engineer will be carrying replacements and therefore the only additional charge will be for the cost of the part used.

Should the problem be identified as a fault with a particular product such as your TV or DVD player and we are able to repair it, additional charges will only apply if your product is not protected under any warranty.

Digital Ready Check

Are you ready for Digital Switchover? Digital Television Switchover is the process of converting the UK's terrestrial television system to digital. Between now and 2012, analogue channels will be switched off region by region and replaced with free-to-air digital TV and radio services (Freeview). Switchover will extend Freeview coverage to the whole of the UK but if you are currently using an analogue or even an old digital tuner, you will not be able to receive terrestrial broadcast once your area switches over.

For a fixed fee our engineers will not only check your equipment and aerial to ensure its compatibility but can also advise on your options should you need to replace any item.
